Hi there, I’m Mikara — the heart behind Priceless Pixels Photography, based in our little slice of heaven, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.

I’m a Penn State graduate, wife, momma, and agriculture teacher who loves tacos, white milk, and slow evenings spent with family and friends. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me in the classroom teaching ag and advising our local FFA chapter, loving on my sweet son Canyon, or baking and crafting up something new (because I’m always creating something).

Agriculture is a huge part of my life — both in school and at home — where my husband, Riley, our son, and I enjoy the farm life, raising beef cattle and sheep. It’s a busy, beautiful life, and it’s where my love for hard work, connection, and storytelling truly began.

Photography became my creative outlet — a way to slow down and capture the beauty in people’s stories. My passion lies in high school seniors and couples, because there’s something so special about those seasons of life: the excitement of new beginnings, the spark of connection, and the confidence that shines when people feel genuinely themselves.

I’m a lover of natural light and authentic moments — the unposed, joy-filled memories that make you feel something. I’m always up for an adventure, so if you want to bring your fur babies along or jump in a creek at the end of your session, I’m all in!

My goal is to make every session easy, natural, and full of fun, guiding you every step of the way so your photos don’t just look beautiful — they feel like the best memories.

Outside of photography, I’m a crafty soul who loves creating — from classroom projects to handmade home décor. I believe in finding beauty in the everyday, laughter in the chaos, and meaning in the little things.

At Priceless Pixels Photography, I don’t just take photos — I capture stories worth keeping. The kind that make you smile today and take you right back years from now. My hope is that you don’t just leave with beautiful photos... you leave with a new friend.
